Welcome to Etna Plants. By accessing our website at etnaplants.ie or placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Etna Plants is a plant nursery and garden centre based in Ballyneety, Co. Limerick, Ireland. We grow and supply plants, trees, hedging, and garden products to customers across Ireland. All plants are locally grown in Irish conditions.
2. Ordering
Orders can be placed through our website at etnaplants.ie or by contacting us directly. By placing an order you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You are ordering for delivery within the Republic of Ireland or for click & collect from our nursery in Ballyneety, Co. Limerick.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where a product is out of stock or where a pricing error has occurred.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept payment via all major credit/debit cards and other methods displayed at checkout.
4. Delivery
We deliver to addresses within the Republic of Ireland only. Delivery timescales are estimates and we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, particularly during peak bareroot season (November–March) or during periods of high demand. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
We take every care to ensure plants arrive in good condition. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers, extreme weather, or circumstances outside our control.
5. Click & Collect
Click & collect orders are available from our nursery in Ballyneety, Co. Limerick. You will be notified by email when your order is ready. Orders must be collected within 7 days of notification unless otherwise agreed.
6. Plant Quality Guarantee
We take great pride in the quality of our plants. All plants are grown locally and inspected before dispatch. If your plants arrive damaged or fail to establish within a reasonable period due to a fault on our part, please contact us with photos within 7 days of receipt and we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Our guarantee does not cover plants that have been incorrectly planted, inadequately watered, damaged by frost or pests after delivery, or that have failed due to unsuitable growing conditions.
7. Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of plants, we are unable to accept returns of live plant material unless there is a fault on our part. Non-plant products (tools, pots, garden accessories) may be returned in their original, unused condition within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning any item.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days of approval.
8. Plant Passports
In accordance with Irish and EU plant health regulations, all applicable plants are supplied with the required Plant Passport documentation. This confirms the plant’s origin, species, and compliance with plant health standards.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Etna Plants and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Etna Plants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
